Metenolone (also known as Primobolan, Primobol, Nibal) is an anabolic steroid derivative of dihydrotestosterone with mild androgen activity and moderate anabolic action.

The injection form of metenolone has a relatively long period of action (due to a long metenolone ester), two weeks approximately. The length of action of metenolone is similar to that of Testosterone enanthate. The main disadvantage of injection form is the painful injections. Experienced athletes compare the effects of metenolone to drostanolone.
